ECOCERT was conceived among the organic agriculture movements in France, in 1991.
ECOCERT BRASIL was born in 2001, first based in Porto Alegre / RS, due to a demand of certification from producers of Soya from Cotrimaio, a Cooperative of production based in Rio Grande do Sul.
